Münster: After yesterday's start to the Westphalian auction year, the Westphalian Studbook offered 20 youngsters online today. The international clientele invested an average of 13,275 euros in the youngsters sold. A daughter of Vaderland advanced to the top price. She found her new owners in the USA at a hammer price of 25,000 euros.

Just one day after the Westphalian Winter Auction for riding horses, 20 three-year-old youngsters were up for sale at the Westphalian Studbook. Both auctions took place as online auctions.

A daughter of Vaderland was particularly popular among the customers this evening. Her dam African Beauty by Belissimo M is a half-sister to the licensed and with Matthias Bouten Inter I successful Dante Delux MJ. Eleven bidders competed with 40 bids for the winning bid for Venice Beach (breeder: Christin Boekhoff, Friedeburg; exhibitor: Sportpferde Beckmann GmbH & Co. KG, Wettringen). Customers from the USA had the longest breath in the end. The virtual hammer fell at the kockdown price of 25,000 euros.  A striking daughter of Taurus also cracked the 20,000 euro mark. The former premium stallion of the Westphalian main licensing presents his first crop here. Tainted Love (breeder: Hubert Bröring, Borken; exhibitor: Sportpferde Beckmann GmbH & Co KG, Wettringen) presents herself in a strikingly beautiful white jacket. The pretty gray mare impressed with her promising movement quality and outstanding type. She found her new owners in Denmark at the hammer price of 20,000 euros.

Head number 6 was the most popular of the young horses for the show jumping course. Calvin Klein by Caribis Z/Couleur-Rubin (breeder: Eitel Wehrs, Lehrte; exhibitor: IB Berger GmbH, Sulzbach-Rosenberg) is a half-brother to CSI winning Sally, who has celebrated numerous successes under the saddle of Hendrik Dowe. Customers from Germany paid 15,000 euros for their young talent for the show jumping course.

A total of 10 three-year-olds found a new owner this evening at an average price of 13,275 euros. Together with yesterday's riding horse auction, the Westphalian Studbook achieved a turnover of around 900,000 euros with the first auction of the year. Six of the youngsters sold will begin their careers outside of Germany.
